AERZEN energy-efficient blowers for wastewater treatment aeration systems at IFAT 2026
  • AERZEN to exhibit at IFAT 2026 in Munich

  • Launching new Delta Hybrid screw blower sizes

  • Expanding Aerzen Turbo blower range

  • Integrated aeration systems combining blowers and control technology

  • Potential energy savings up to 55%

  • CO₂ footprint reduction potential up to 65%

AERZEN at IFAT 2026 will highlight new blower technologies and integrated aeration system solutions designed to improve energy efficiency and reduce the carbon footprint of wastewater treatment plants.

Exhibiting in Hall A3, Stand 351 at IFAT 2026 in Munich, AERZEN will present next-generation screw and turbo blowers alongside digital control technologies aimed at optimising biological treatment processes.

AERZEN at IFAT 2026: new screw and turbo blower technologies

The company will introduce new sizes within its Delta Hybrid screw blower and Aerzen Turbo ranges. According to AERZEN, the screw blowers can deliver energy savings of up to 37% compared with conventional positive displacement blowers, while maintaining low sound pressure levels.

The turbo blowers, equipped with air bearing technology, are designed to extend performance ranges while offering a compact footprint and broad turndown capability. The systems enable demand-based oxygen supply through precise load control, helping reduce overall energy consumption.

Integrated aeration concepts for wastewater treatment

AERZEN will also demonstrate integrated aeration concepts combining blower technology, aeration components and intelligent control systems. The approach is intended to harmonise efficiency, operational reliability and lifecycle costs within biological treatment stages.

The company states that holistic optimisation of aeration systems can achieve energy savings of up to 55% and reduce the CO₂ footprint of wastewater treatment plants by up to 65%, depending on plant configuration and operating conditions.

The product portfolio spans rotary piston, screw and turbo blowers, alongside plate, disc and tube aerators. This range enables configuration according to process requirements, load profiles and energy targets.

In addition to equipment, AERZEN provides digital services, rental solutions and lifecycle support. Further details are available via the company’s water and wastewater treatment applications page.
