GF will present its expanded portfolio of water infrastructure technologies at IFAT 2026 in Munich, highlighting integrated “Flow Solutions” developed in collaboration with VAG.
The showcase follows GF’s acquisition of the German valve specialist in October 2025, strengthening its capabilities across water and wastewater systems and enabling a more comprehensive approach to infrastructure design, operation and lifecycle management.
Under the theme “Building reliable water networks together”, GF will present technologies designed to improve network resilience, reduce leakage and optimise operational efficiency.
GF IFAT 2026 showcase highlights integrated water infrastructure solutions
The combined portfolio includes valves, piping systems, automation solutions and jointing technologies, offering utilities and industrial operators an end-to-end system approach.
By combining GF’s polymer expertise with VAG’s metal valve technologies, the company aims to deliver improved compatibility across components, simplified sourcing and enhanced local support.
Juerg Peter, President Business Unit EMEA at GF, said: “Today’s water infrastructure challenges require new approaches. By combining our polymer expertise with VAG’s high-performance metal valves, we can deliver end-to-end Flow Solutions designed for reliability and efficiency.”
The solutions are designed to reduce maintenance requirements, extend network lifespan and improve water quality across distribution systems.
Automation, jointing and hydrogen-ready infrastructure
At IFAT, GF will demonstrate a range of technologies including Flowise chamber systems for leakage reduction and pressure control, alongside repair solutions such as the MULTI/JOINT 3000 Plus for connecting pipelines across distribution networks.
The company will also highlight its Valve Automation Solutions, which integrate valves, actuators and accessories into unified systems to simplify planning and improve operational control.
Jointing technologies will form a key part of the showcase, including the IR-225 M infrared fusion machine and digital tools such as the CONNECT Welding App for improved documentation and reliability.
In addition, GF will present corrosion-resistant thermoplastic piping systems for hydrogen infrastructure, supporting applications from production and distribution to storage and usage.
The IFAT exhibition takes place from 4–7 May 2026 in Munich, where GF and VAG will demonstrate how integrated solutions can support more resilient and efficient water networks.
