AquaStore is developing a digital procurement platform for the global water industry, aiming to make supplier discovery, product sourcing and RFQ management easier for professional buyers.

The Dubai-based B2B platform, operated by Aquamarket FZCO, is focused on water treatment, filtration, irrigation, water storage, pool, spa and related service markets.

The company says the platform is being built around the specific procurement needs of water-sector buyers, where purchasing decisions often depend on technical suitability, certifications, supplier capability, regional availability, documentation, delivery conditions and after-sales support.

Procurement built around water-sector workflows

Water industry sourcing is often fragmented across trade exhibitions, referrals, distributor networks, manufacturer websites, spreadsheets and email chains. AquaStore says this makes it harder for contractors, developers, facility operators and project buyers to identify suitable partners quickly.

The platform is intended to help buyers distinguish between manufacturers, distributors, wholesalers, contractors and service providers, while organising discovery around sector-specific categories and procurement workflows.

“The global water industry needs more than another online directory. It needs a digital environment structured around professional procurement, where technical capabilities, product categories, RFQs and project opportunities can be connected in one relevant workflow,” said Aydin Malikov, Founder and CEO of AquaStore.

According to the company’s about page, AquaStore is operated by Aquamarket FZCO from Dubai Silicon Oasis and is designed to connect suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, contractors and project buyers across pools, spa and wellness, water filtration and treatment, irrigation and related technical services.

RFQs, tenders and supplier visibility

AquaStore’s framework includes structured company profiles, industry-specific product discovery, request-for-quotation workflows, project and tender visibility, supplier verification and analytics.

The platform is not designed to replace engineering review, due diligence or commercial negotiation. Instead, its role is to reduce friction before those stages begin by making suitable companies easier to identify, assess and contact.

The AquaStore marketplace currently lists categories including pool equipment, water treatment, water irrigation management, spa and wellness, water tanks, and tenders and RFQs.

Dubai base with Gulf market focus

AquaStore is being developed from Dubai with an initial commercial focus on the United Arab Emirates and Saudi Arabia, alongside expansion of an international supplier network.

The Gulf region includes contractors, developers, hospitality operators, industrial users, distributors and infrastructure stakeholders that depend on reliable access to water-related products, systems and specialist services.

“Digital transformation should not remove the professional relationships that drive this industry,” Malikov said.

“It should make those relationships easier to begin, more relevant and better informed.”

AquaStore says the platform reflects Malikov’s experience in water-related products, equipment distribution, international sourcing and supplier development.
