Everflow has been named among the UK’s fastest-growing companies in a new ranking produced by the Financial Times and Statista.
The multi-utility provider is one of 150 businesses included in the inaugural Financial Times UK’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2027 ranking. It is also one of seven selected companies from the energy and utilities sector.
Everflow reports continued revenue growth
The recognition follows another year of growth for Everflow. According to the company’s 2025 emissions report, its revenue increased by 37%, equivalent to £69 million, while EBITDA-R profitability grew by 44%, or £2.2 million.
Everflow’s customer base increased by 9%, from 110,411 to 120,870, during the same reporting period. Its average number of full-time equivalent employees grew by 21%, representing an additional 41 employees.
The Financial Times and Statista assessed more than 8,000 UK companies during the research and verification process. The ranking evaluates companies using organic revenue growth, with participating businesses required to submit verified financial information.
Expansion beyond business water retail
Everflow was established in 2015 as a specialist retailer serving business water customers. It has since expanded into commercial waste management and business connectivity while retaining water supply as a central part of its offering.
The company now provides utility services to small and medium-sized businesses across the UK. Its services are intended to give customers a single provider for managing water, waste, broadband and telecommunications requirements.
H2O Global News previously reported on Everflow’s 2023 financial performance, when revenue increased by 33% to £154 million. That year also saw the company expand its waste-management operation and move into a larger headquarters in Peterlee, County Durham.
Recognition follows a decade of growth
Craig Dallison, chief executive officer of Everflow, said maintaining the company’s growth more than a decade after its launch was a significant achievement.
“Rapid growth in a company’s early years is one thing. Continuing to be named one of the UK’s fastest-growing companies more than a decade after launching is something we’re incredibly proud of, and it’s a credit to our whole team,” Dallison said.
He attributed the company’s growth to its focus on simplifying essential utility services for businesses. Everflow intends to continue investing in its employees, technology and multi-utility service model.
The company’s inclusion comes as competition among business utility providers continues to develop. Water retailers are increasingly combining billing and customer support with consumption monitoring, efficiency advice and services intended to help businesses manage costs.
H2O Global News recently covered similar activity in the non-household market when Wave secured new SME water contracts across the UK’s leisure and sports sectors.
The online edition of the Financial Times UK’s Fastest-Growing Companies 2027 report is scheduled for publication on 1 October 2026. A print edition is due to follow on 15 October.
