Cla-Val, a global manufacturer of automatic control valves used across water, wastewater and industrial infrastructure, has announced changes to its senior leadership team, effective 1 January 2026.
John Link has been appointed President and Chief Executive Officer, succeeding Martin W. Pickett, who will transition to the role of Chairman of the Board.
Link brings 35 years of experience with Cla-Val, having played a central role in the company’s domestic and international expansion. During his tenure, he has overseen sales and engineering functions and most recently served as President, contributing to the company’s global footprint across municipal and industrial markets.
Ryan Pickett has been promoted to Chief Operating Officer. With 15 years of operational experience at Cla-Val, Pickett has been involved in organisational development and the execution of operational growth initiatives supporting the company’s manufacturing and supply capabilities.
Martin W. Pickett will continue to support the business as Chairman, providing strategic guidance and oversight of selected growth initiatives.

The executive management team also includes David Koeblitz as Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Hugo Van Buel as Executive Vice President of European Operations.
Cla-Val manufactures automatic control valves used in water supply, water treatment, irrigation, fire protection and industrial systems, supplying utilities and operators worldwide.
