USG Water Solutions has appointed Christina Coen as Chief Executive Officer, effective 1 September 2026.
Coen succeeds John Flaugher, who is transitioning from the CEO position into a strategic advisory role with the US water utility services company.
Coen brings experience from water and chemicals sectors
Coen joins USG Water Solutions from UPL Corp, where she most recently served as Chief Transformation Officer, R&D and Sustainability Lead.
She previously served as Chief Marketing Officer at UPL, with global profit and loss responsibility for a multi-billion-dollar portfolio.
Her earlier career included senior leadership positions at Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, FMC Corporation and Dow Chemical.
These roles covered areas including research and development, business transformation, marketing and commercial leadership across the water, agricultural and specialty chemicals sectors.
Focus on water infrastructure
USG Water Solutions provides services covering water storage tanks, treatment plant rehabilitation, metering and distribution systems.
The company works primarily with water utilities serving rural and suburban communities and smaller cities across the United States.

Serving US water utilities
USG Water Solutions has operated in the water infrastructure sector for more than 60 years.
The company employs more than 600 water utility maintenance professionals across 11 service centres, providing maintenance and infrastructure services to utilities across the US.
Coen holds a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University and a Master of Business Administration from Northwood University.
