SUEZ has published its annual drinking water quality reports for the company’s owned and operated utilities, as well as for the city-owned water systems managed by the company. As part of the Safe Drinking Water Act, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) requires community water systems to deliver a Consumer Confidence Report (CCR), also known as an annual drinking water quality report, to their customers.
These reports provide information about local drinking water quality, data from tests conducted the previous year, and contact information for any questions or concerns. SUEZ North America, CEO, Nadine Leslie said: “We understand that customer confidence in water quality is more important than ever. The latest SUEZ annual Consumer Confidence Reports detail the high quality of drinking water provided to all of our customers in 2020.”
For easy access, the report is available online for customers at www.mysuezwater.com.
The CCR provides a snapshot of drinking water quality each year based on the prior year’s testing results. The reports include system comparisons with safe drinking water standards set by the EPA and state and local health agencies, drinking water sources, and treatment processes.
“It takes a dedicated team of highly skilled professionals to ensure we provide drinking water that meets or surpasses all of the federal and state standards of the Safe Drinking water Act,” said Ms. Leslie. “Our team of water quality and water distribution staff work 24-hours-a-day, year-round to ensure that high quality drinking water is always available to our customers, which includes sampling and testing the water throughout the treatment process. Across the nation, we conduct hundreds of thousands of water quality tests per year.”
