The board is excited about future opportunities for RSK, and we look forward to working with Andrew as we target continued growth, in both revenue and EBITDA, and capitalise on strong market conditions to drive revenue synergies across the group. Alongside this, we will continue to execute our acquisition strategy, bringing specialised businesses into the group to further develop our end-to-end sustainable solutions offering in the core markets of water, energy, infrastructure and the built and natural environment.”
Commenting on his appointment, Andrew said: “It is a privilege to join RSK as group CFO, and I look forward to partnering with Alan and the leadership team, as well as the board and our investors, to drive continued growth as RSK embarks on the next stage of its journey and delivers its 2030 growth strategy. I have long admired RSK and believe the business is uniquely positioned to execute on increased market opportunities that will continue to deliver long-term value for all stakeholders.”
Before joining RSK, Andrew served as CFO at UPL Corporation, a global agrochemical company specialising in post-patent and bio-solution markets, where he led the global finance function. He was also CFO of a global division at IQVIA, overseeing a team of approximately 500 finance professionals and managing all financial aspects of a Clinical Research Organisation (CRO) division generating over $8 billion in annual revenue.
Earlier in his career, Andrew held senior finance roles in group treasury, investor relations, financial planning and analysis, and internal audit. His professional background also spans the actuarial, facilities management, and energy sectors. Andrew earned his MBA with distinction from the University of Birmingham and is a Chartered Global Management Accountant (ACMA/CGMA).
RSK’s appointment of Andrew Markwick reflects its commitment to strengthening its leadership team as it continues to expand its integrated sustainability, infrastructure, and environmental services portfolio worldwide.
