AVT proudly offers BABA compliant products. Build America, Buy America (BABA) is part of the Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act and aims to ensure that federal infrastructure programs use products manufactured in the United States. This is to help sustain and grow domestic manufacturing and the millions of jobs it creates.

The BABA Act covers a range of areas with water infrastructure development and rehabilitation being just one. The building and maintenance of water systems, including drinking water and wastewater sits alongside other infrastructure elements such as transportation, maritime facilities and airports to name just a few.

AVT is a proud manufacturer of a BABA compliant product, the EZ Valve – an insertion that that can be installed without the need to shut off the water flow. AVT is working with customers to ensure they have unfettered access to products manufactured in the US for their infrastructure rehabilitation projects.

AVT Manufactures the EZ Valve, an insertion valve for water and wastewater networks, from its North American facilities. AVT is a 15-year-old organization and has grown to be one of the country’s foremost manufacturers of insertion valves with products installed in all 50 states. The company has a long history of working with major cities as well as thousands of smaller municipalities to resolve their water network issues.

AVT’s Global Account Manager Shawn Petty said: “We are a proud American company and are pleased to be able to support this important initiative. The AVT products are manufactured in our North American facilities by our team of local experts. Our business development team partners with distributors and installers from across the US to assist municipalities, small and large, in their drive to improve water infrastructure across the country.”
