Matrix, a company supplying drinking water services for new build residential developments, has appointed South East Water as its billing agent.

Matrix Water, a New Appointment and Variations (NAV) provider, has contracted South East Water to support its customer-facing operations by providing a tailored billing service. The new partnership relates to drinking and waste water services, depending on the individual requirement of each household.

South East Water, which provides drinking water to 2.3 million customers in parts of Kent, Sussex, Surrey, Hampshire and Berkshire, already has well established joint billing operations with Southern Water, Thames Water, Severn Trent Connect, as well as other NAVs, Icosa Water Services, ESP Water and mua Water.

Tanya Sephton, Customer Services Director at South East Water, said: “With our deep knowledge and extensive experience of water we are delighted to support newly formed Matrix Water with our third party billing operations.

“Matrix Water joins a growing list of companies who have partnered with us and are benefiting from our experience of the water industry.”

Lyndsey Wainwright, Head of Matrix Water, added: “As developers and self-lay providers now have a choice in who manages their new water network, here at Matrix Water we aim to stand out by offering a quick and efficient, tailored personalised service, with options and flexibility on design, proactive legal management and guaranteed asset payment.

“As part of this package, and by working with South East Water’s exceptional team of experienced staff, our customers will benefit from its first class billing service, helping to build our reputation as a respected water services provider.”
