The acquisition strengthens GF’s ability to provide complete flow solutions for water utilities, industrial facilities and infrastructure projects. By combining GF’s existing products with VAG’s long-established metal valve expertise, customers can access a wider range of engineered systems from a single supplier.
VAG’s portfolio includes gate, butterfly, control, check and air valves used in water networks, dams, power plants, desalination facilities and other critical infrastructure. GF states that integrating these technologies will enable more robust system compatibility, improve network reliability and support long-term asset performance.
The two organisations will also combine research and development capacity, aiming to accelerate innovation in areas such as water loss mitigation, energy reduction and digital-enabled flow management. VAG’s global presence across Europe, the Americas, the Middle East and Asia is expected to enhance delivery times and provide strengthened local service support for GF customers.
GF has now incorporated VAG into its Industry & Infrastructure Flow Solutions division following the completion of the transaction on 1 October 2025.
