The BREW 2.0 2026 cohort has been announced by The Water Council, bringing together 11 startups from eight countries developing solutions to a wide range of water challenges.
Representing North America and Europe, the selected companies span technologies including predictive pipe modelling, rainwater monitoring, wastewater resource recovery, PFAS filtration and AI-driven digital twins.
BREW 2.0 2026 cohort supports market-ready water technology
The BREW 2.0 2026 cohort will participate in several weeks of structured training covering sales strategy, company culture, pitching and investor readiness. The programme begins in April with an in-person session in Milwaukee, followed by a closing week that includes one-to-one meetings, additional workshops, a public showcase on 17 June and a curated investor event.
Katie Kollhoff Mouat, Director of Innovation Programs at The Water Council, said the programme is designed to bridge the gap between breakthrough water technology and proven market viability.
Since launching in 2021, BREW 2.0 has supported nearly 50 early-stage and market-ready companies in strengthening commercial skills, expanding industry networks and preparing for growth. The programme is sponsored by Beckhoff Automation and Xylem, with support from Thales Water Advisors.
