In his new role, Pond will guide AV’s overall sales strategy, leading both internal teams and the company’s national network of channel partners. His remit includes developing strategic key account programmes, supporting sales team performance and building partnerships with engineering and consulting firms across the water sector.

Pond brings a combination of commercial leadership experience and technical understanding, having previously led regional and global teams with full profit-and-loss responsibility ranging from $25 million to $200 million. His background includes developing scalable commercial processes, accelerating growth and supporting customer-focused organisational cultures.
AV continues to play a leading role in supporting utilities as they respond to new regulatory requirements for PFAS and other contaminants. Its systems include large steel treatment vessels, integrated piping assemblies and filtration media designed to achieve regulatory compliance and support resilient, long-term operations.
