AERZEN has introduced the first models in its new G6 turbo generation, designed to improve energy efficiency and operational performance in wastewater treatment and industrial applications.
The new range includes the AT125-0.9S G6, AT125-1.3S G6 and AT250-0.9S G6 turbo units, alongside the AT450-0.9S turbo stage for higher volume flows. According to the company, the systems can improve energy efficiency by up to 15% compared with conventional turbo technology.
AERZEN G6 turbo generation targets lower energy consumption
The AERZEN G6 turbo generation has been developed for applications requiring high efficiency, reduced footprint and digital monitoring capabilities.
The company said the updated turbo stage design improves the interaction between the impeller, spiral housing and flow-guiding components. In addition, the systems offer a turndown ratio of up to 1:5.
The units also include redesigned control systems and IoT-ready operating displays to support digital monitoring and operational management.
Wastewater treatment and industrial applications
Turbo blowers are widely used in wastewater treatment plants, particularly within aeration systems where energy consumption represents a major operational cost.
AERZEN said the compact design of the G6 series reduces installation space requirements while supporting easier integration into machine rooms and existing infrastructure.
The launch comes as utilities and industrial operators continue to focus on reducing energy use, modernising equipment and improving process efficiency across water treatment operations.
Digitalisation and operational performance
The company stated that the G6 range has been developed with a focus on digitalisation and operational adaptability for future industrial requirements.
Meanwhile, the addition of the AT450-0.9S turbo stage expands the portfolio for applications requiring higher flow capacities.
Further information about the turbo range is available on the AERZEN website.
