The third episode of the “Solving water loss for life” webcast series by GF Piping Systems will go live on 31 January 2022
Leakages are one of the major concerns faced by utilities in the global fight against water loss. As a result, the focus often lies on improving the infrastructure’s pressure management or monitoring capabilities. But what about the pipes themselves? Episode three in the “Solving Water Loss for Life” series presented by GF Piping Systems will show how utilities can improve their water networks with the right piping material and most efficient installation process. The new episode will air on 31 January 2022 and can be viewed on demand.
The first episode laid the groundwork for solving water loss by giving a general overview of the challenges surrounding non-revenue water. Episode two introduced specific technical solutions and focused on pressure management. The panel of experts discussed cutting-edge pressure regulating valves as well as smart pressure management capabilities and digitalized water networks.
Episode three will spotlight current developments in piping technology. Moderator Andrew Walker and a panel of experts from across the water sector will discuss the many benefits of using polyethylene materials such as PE100 as well as the importance of trenchless technology. In addition, the episode will feature success stories that show how cost-effective and long-lasting piping solutions can make a big difference for utilities.
