Duperon Corporation has announced that its President, Mark Turpin, has become a co-owner of the company alongside founder Terry Duperon and chief executive officer Tammy Bernier.
The Michigan-based company develops liquid and solids separation technologies used in water, wastewater and industrial treatment applications worldwide.
According to Duperon Corporation, the expansion of ownership reflects a long-standing vision to recognise leadership within the organisation while ensuring continuity for the company’s future development.
Turpin joined Duperon in 2016 as President and has played a central role in the company’s strategic growth and product innovation programmes.
During his tenure, the company has introduced multiple new technologies while expanding its presence in the global water and wastewater equipment market.
Leadership experience in the water industry
Turpin brings more than two decades of experience in manufacturing and executive leadership roles across both private and public companies.
His career has focused on driving organic growth, operational performance and product development across engineering and industrial technology sectors.
Within the water industry, Turpin is also active in sector organisations and policy discussions.
He currently serves on the board of directors of the Water and Wastewater Equipment Manufacturers Association, where he previously held the role of board chairman and has served in several leadership positions.
He also contributes to regional economic development through his role on the Saginaw Economic Development Corporation board.
Focus on long-term company stewardship
Duperon’s leadership said the ownership expansion reflects the company’s focus on stewardship and long-term leadership continuity.
The move is intended to support the company’s ongoing investment in innovation and technology development for water and wastewater treatment systems.
Duperon provides screening and separation technologies used in municipal wastewater treatment plants, pump stations and industrial facilities.
The company said the ownership structure will continue to support its mission of developing technologies designed to improve water infrastructure and protect water resources.
