Closing the growing urban water gap will require new tools for utilities to turn their performance around. The International Benchmarking Network (IBNET) is a global information system and partnership, specifically designed for water and sanitation service providers, and hosted by the World Bank Group. New IBNET has been developed using a human-centred design approach to provide insights that enable straightforward tracking of utility performance and support the allocation of investment.
The World Bank are very excited to announce that the Launch of the New IBNET will be held as part of the UN Water Conference on March 22nd 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM (EST) at the Millennium Hilton New York One UN Plaza Hotel (Riverview Conference Room). This event is designed to showcase the importance of a data culture in the water and sanitation sector and how it can be leveraged to improve access to safe and affordable water and sanitation for all.
The Launch of New IBNET “Scaling Urban WSS Services through Data Culture: From Data to Action” will be available as an online webinar.
