The Future of Water Distribution Systems
Water systems are rarely designed to be future proof. When initially designed, engineers add the number of control points needed at that time, and AVT is finding more and more that these points are not sufficient for the current demands on the systems. So, what do water system operators do?
This question and more will be answered when AVT’s VP of Global Sales, Shawn Petty presents ‘Why Insertion Valve Technology is the Future of Installing Distribution System Control Points’ at AWWA ACE. Shawn’s presentation will take place on Monday June 13 at 2.30 at location 225C.
As well as presenting, Shawn and his colleagues will be available to meet with at booth 23101 where there will be a fully working EZ Valve in display.
AVT manufactures and supplies the award-winning EZ Valve, an insertion valve that can be installed at full pressure and without the need to shut off the flow. By using the EZ Valve to create new control points, water system operators can gain full control of their assets and shut off the flown as and when they need to. Installed using an innovative technique which does not remove a large area of the pipe, the EZ Valve enables pipes to retain their integrity and strength.
