CRH Ventures, the venture capital unit of global building materials leader CRH, has just launched an exciting new accelerator programme for promising start-ups in the Construction Technology (ConTech) and ClimateTech spheres.

The programme’s focus is on innovative solutions to address global water challenges, including stormwater, wastewater, and potable water management.

CRH is a leader in water management solutions, and the new programme is seeking companies capable of piloting their technology in CRH operations across North America and Europe.

This three-to-six-month programme will offer participating companies the chance to collaborate with experts in CRH’s water solutions market and show success on a large scale.

To participate, companies must apply through the CRH Ventures website. Evaluations will take place in June 2023, followed by the pilot phase running from July to October 2023. The companies with the most successful pilots will be reviewed to determine scalability across CRH and potential investment by CRH Ventures.

Eduardo Gomez, Head of CRH Ventures, notes that “water is at the core of ClimateTech, playing a major role in transforming our society.”

With the new Accelerator for Water Solutions, CRH Ventures is partnering with entrepreneurs in the Construction Technology and ClimateTech arena to create and advance the next generation of water solutions necessary to address society’s most pressing water problems.

This accelerator is the first of several anticipated by CRH Ventures to drive innovation in sustainable construction, making it a fantastic opportunity for cutting-edge start-ups to collaborate with a global leader in building materials solutions.
