Stantec has appointed Frank van der Kleij as principal asset management consultant to further strengthen Stantec’s service offering across all sectors, with a specific focus on water infrastructure.

Frank has more than 27 years’ experience primarily within the UK water industry. His previous roles included implementing and managing the asset risk and planning process at Bristol Water, developing investment case strategies for the AMP7 Investment Programme, and prioritising capital investment to achieve the Final Determination Business Plan performance measures.

On his appointment, Frank said: “It’s fantastic to have this opportunity to work within such an innovative team at Stantec. We are already developing a new system-based approach to strategic planning for our water clients, which will bring together multiple needs, at a whole-system level and develops integrated long-term plans to ensure water supply services are sustainable and resilient. As part of my new role, I am looking forward to developing and piloting a new strategic planning approach with input from key stakeholders across the water industry.”

Head of Assurance in Stantec’s UK & Ireland Water business, Chris Roxburgh said: “I am delighted to have Frank on-board. His extensive experience, insights and expertise will further boost our asset management capability and offerings for our clients in his role.”

Frank’s appointment adds further strength to Stantec’s successful and growing Asset Management, Assurance & Regulation and Strategy teams across all sectors.
